Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom, wife of the Governor of Benue state has applauded the efforts of the state branch of the National Council of women Societies NCWS for promoting the cause of Women in the state. Dr Mrs Ortom who stated this after receiving an award of honour of "The Most Innovative NCWS Council in the North Central Zone"from the President of the state branch , Chief Mrs Grace Okochi at the Benue  Peoples House, described the Benue Woman as always striving for Peace and Development. She also noted that the Benue Woman is known for building bridges of understanding between the family and Communities she lives in. The Wife of the Governor of Benue State thanked the State Council of NCWS for all it has been doing for the elevation of the status of the Benue Woman , and assured of her support for the success of the State Council's Programmes.
